Super Crema blend
This is a late review because other than the and Mocha, Caramella that I tried at first, I have been exploring Single Origin beans, either to roast at home (for fun, although only 'drinkable' results - but getting better) or roasted in Sopranos' roastery - (AWESOME !) However, I had to drink a whole pack of these Super Crema beans to work out what was unusual abot them. Sure, as the name suggests, the crema sort of hangs in there and lasts, but there was something else. I've said in othr reviews that my taste buds are not able to pick out faint notes of blah blah blah. Coffe is 'Drinkable', 'Awful' 'Awesome' and so on. Plus a few other sort of 'feely' things in my mouth. As I'm cooking this up on a pretty basic Breville Duo-Temp Pro most of the time, I am limited to what I can grind, and my personal favourite recipe within a gram / ml here and there. I'm also limited to mostly one cup of caffeine a day because of spinal nerve damage which means most of the time I drink a Cappuccino in the morning, and only sometimes 'enjoy' a straight espresso. So, here goes. Super Crema and milk coffee drinks were nice, but not extraordinarily 'different'. Subtle differences that some people might pick up on were probably there. However, on the days I decided to have an Espresso I was confused. It was different. The taste was excellent, but it was not what I had got used to. There were different flavours in my mouth. Again - I can't describe them in the terms a coffee expert would, but there was enough difference that I took to having a sip or two of Espresso before I foamed the milk when I was making a Capp or a flattish Latte. Taken as Espress at 20g ground beans to 36ml in the glass, and sipped over 'time to relax' the flavours changed and sort of played. If coffee is starting to bore you just a little, have a go at this stuff. It might surprise you. I've just started on a pack of Uganda Bugisi because I wanted to compare the Super Crema to one of my favourite beans that I am particularly familiar with, but I am pretty sure next month's pack will be Super Crema again just to explore the Espresso itself a bit more.

Not opening packet doesn't preclude me from reviewing
Though I have not opened the packet to consume its contents, it does not preclude me from making a review. First, the package arrived within two days of the order. When I received the order, it came in a protective paper wrapper and paper/synthetic net. Opening the box, one can sense the real aroma of coffee. This was reinforced when I sniffed near the top of the packet's ventilation holes. Makes one look forward to consuming the the product. Thank you, Anthony of exciting Belfield Review once tasted I have opened the packet in the last month and can say that the flavour of the coffee has a hint of the taste of Middle-Eastern coffee, the coffee that is served in tiny cups. I only put one teaspoon of sugar. My coffee machine is Saeco Syntia set with a fine grind and middle temp (temp range is low, middle or high only). The resulting crema is a mix of a light hazlenut to brown colour. The aroma remains while consuming the coffee. It's a wonderful experience.

Super Crema Blend
First time with this coffee, the shot poured amazingly thick crema, nice robust taste. Look forward to finishing the beans off and getting some more!
